The Summer Camp

Residential Summer Camp - The children we work with never have the opportunity to go on 'holiday'. Last year we ran a residential camp in the Mountains for 34 children both from Roma and Romanian cultures. The camp taught the children how to work and play together and gave them many first time experiences. It was also the first time for many of our volunteers all whom have returned to run other activities.

Residential Summer Camp - Hunedora, Romania. Date 8th August until 20th August. 15 Volunteers Cancelled

The cost: of this trip will be £220, this includes volunteer training, return flights from Gatwick to Bucarest, return transport to the camp, food and accomodation. We also ask each volunteer for a donation of £200 towards the cost of running the residential camp. We will give you help and ideas for your fundraising.This could be asking for sponsorship from your friends and family or by running a fundraising party (many of our volunteers did this last year and raised well over £200! If you manage to raise over the what is needed to run the camp then as always, the donation will be used for our other projects with your agreement.

A deposit of £80 must be paid by January 10th 2008
