Our Mission Statement

ECN takes action for children as an independent non-governmental social and Educational development organisation. We work to improve the Education standard and social development of Children living in Romania and the UK respecting all religions and cultures. We work in the spirit of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

• To advance the education and training of young people in the UK through giving them opportunity to assist others, particularly children and young people living in Romania.
  
• To improve schooling for children and therefore their life through providing education programs, school equipment and other teaching resources including teacher training and further educational opportunities.
  
• To fund, provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation and other out of school activities in the interests of extra curricular education, social education and welfare with the objective of improving children’s conditions of life.
  
• To support the integration and reintegration of Romanian children out of school back into education.
