Many of our families grow vegetables and pick wild leaves and fruit to cook in the summer. Most of our families keep a pig, free range and fed on scraps for slaughter at Christmas and chickens for eggs. We try and give an essential food parcel to each of our families at least four times a year over the winter months. The food parcel consists of vegetable oil, sugar, salt, jam, vitamin tablets, toothpaste and brushes, sugar-free sweets for the children and washing powder (Eco friendly as most of the washing is done at the river and affects not only the aquatic life but also the drinking water)

The cost for each parcel is £18.
