Our first Creative Art week was held in the summer of 2006 for 50 children. Our second was held this year in the village of Maru for over 100 children. There is little creative activity going on in romanian schools and practically non- existent in rural schools. The 'creative arts' week give the children the opportunity to explore and express themselves through art, drama, dance and music and for many of them a first time experience. This has now become an annual event hopefully for many years to come.
